Illumi-Naughtie Occult Burlesque

Illumi-Naughtie Occult Burlesque is a one of kind event that explores the mysterious world of the occult, educating and titillating audiences with performances, stories, history, and presentations. Conceived and created by Vivian Meretrix, the head-hottie of the Illumi-Naughtie, the Occult Burlesque review premiered to a sold-out audience at the Newport Theater on October 7, 2023. We followed up with our successful Rites of Spring show on March 30, 2024, Divine Devils on Saturday, October 5th, 2024, and Krampusnacht at Ritual Rhythms Creative Studio on December 7th.

Illumi-Naughtie Occult Burlesque is built on the combined knowledge of ordained priestess Vivian Meretrix and her partner in magick, Frater Fabulosa, your fabulous MC, hermetic magician, and scholar. We present cabaret, burlesque, drag, flow arts, and bellydance, incorporating occult traditions and history, folklore, mythology, and initiatory rites to create a truly unforgettable and magickal evening. With new casts and themes for each show, we guide audiences to different corners of the occult universe, raising ecstatic energy through the power and passion of our performers. And if you are a lucky audience member, you too may be initiated into the deeper mysteries of the Illumi-Naughtie!
