DARK DIVINITY RISING
The Illumi-Naughtie Occult Burlesque presents an evening of delicious devotions to the dark deities! Celebrating the Spring Equinox and the re-emergence of the dark goddesses from the underworld, Illumi-Naughtie Occult Burlesque dedicates its stage to initiation and transformation. We will call on the power of divine retribution and protection with the help of Miss Nyxon, Vivi Valens, Morteisha Addams, Vivian Meretrix, Joelie Folle, Nyx Namor, and DD DuPree! Worship our marvelous manifestations of Sekhmet, Xochiquetzal, Qetesh, Freya, Hermes, An Morrigan, and Oshun.
The Illumi-Naughtie creates one-of-a-kind events that explore the mysterious world of the occult, educating and titillating audiences.
They incorporate occult traditions and history, folklore, mythology, and initiatory rites to guide audiences to different corners of the occult universe, raising ecstatic energy through the power and passion of our performers.

MISS NYXON
Miss Nyxon grew up in the professional wrestling industry, hailing from the iconic wrestling dynasty Los Guerreros. Being in front of audiences of thousands since 13years old, she is a Burlesque Artist, Choreographer, Third Generation Pro Wrestler, Fire Performer, TV personality & Host. As of 2022, Nyxon has headlined around the US, making rounds in the US Burlesque Festival Circuit and tours internationally as a feature entertainer for Centerfold Features. Fresh off the Burlesque Hall of Fame stage, your current reigning Miss Hollywood 2025 and 2024 Duchess of Tease. She is The Favorite of Burlesque, Latina Heat- Miss Nyxon!
Vivi Valens
Vivi Valens has been prancing and peeling in Chicago for over a decade. She has been able to cultivate a classic, humorous and sultry persona that always includes a surprise at the end. A producer as well as a performer, as a member of Latinesque, She's excited to help bring more flavor to the stage. She's the spicy dish leaving you hungry for more!
Morteisha Addams
Thrust from the crypt! She’s a vampy vixen of the night whose bite is oh, so right. Living somewhere between the velvety pages of vampire lore and the sleazy alt parties of your wettest dreams. She’s a star of Chicago’s Nightshade, a beloved Plan 9 Asstronaut, Gaggy Award nominee, and educator at Chicago’s Newport Theater; she’s Chicago‘s Queen of the Damned and Thee Gothicc ShowGhoul, the one and only Morteisha Addams.
Vivian Meretrix
Vivian Meretrix, the Sorceress of Shimmy and the Head Hottie from the Illumi-Naughtie, is an Ordained Priestess and Sacred Dancer, who has performed at national occult conferences as well as local Chicago burlesque stages. In 2023, she formed The Illumi-Naughtie Occult Burlesque, creating shows that titillate and educate, combining spiritually-based performances and occult history and ideology. Past shows include Rites of Spring, Divine Devils, Hermetica, The Occult Cabaret, Krampusnacht, and more!
Joelie Folle
Get ready for Chicago's favorite little conversion therapy drop-out: it's Joelie Folle! Since 2021, Joelie has been serving up his special blend of silly, sexy, and surprising on stages in the US, Canada, and Mexico. He co-produced LIT!, a literary burlesque and variety show, with Moxie Simone.
DD DuPree
A lifelong theater nerd, DD DuPree always knew she was meant for the stage. Inspired by the curves and charisma of the showgirls of yesteryear, she brings energy, body positivity and sultry appeal every time she steps onstage.
Nyx Namor
Nyx Namor is a dark fusion belly dancer from Champaign, IL specializing in gothic and metal themed performances. She is a founding member of the Stygian Sisters and Stygian Collective and has taught at festivals such as The Descent and Ooky Spooky. A lover of all things dark and macabre, Nyx enjoys turning her passion into performance, whether it be for catharsis, exploration, or pure expression. She prefers to explore emotions that society once deemed 'improper' for women to show: anger, apathy, grief, rage ... anything that is considered on the darker half of the emotional spectrum. It is her belief that you cannot have light without dark; it is only by exploring both that we can be whole.
